Our 2012 Mardi Gras Pet Parade is a chance for festive pets to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Activities begin at 1:30 p.m. The Parade walks at 3:00 p.m.

Pre-register NOW! If you pre-register your pets, the cost is $15 for your first pet, $10 for each additional pet.

Pre-registration will end February 10. Registration the day of the parade is $20 for first pet and $10 for each additional pet. Register the day of the parade after 12:00 noon.

T-shirts will be available for $10 each. The shirts will be at the Royal Raffle and can be paid in advance to reserve size, quantities limited. Thanks to Jaime Townsend for our great t-shirt design!

The Royalty Raffle will be held on February 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Petco on Youree Drive in Shreveport. Pre-register your pets, grab t-shirts, and stuff the ballot box. This is your chance to buy additional chances for your pet to be royalty. Each additional ballot is $1. Stuffing the ballot box for your pet to be king or queen is encouraged and it benefits the animals in our area!

Our royal court of pets will be presented at 2:30 p.m. at the parade.

Prizes awarded for the best dressed, best float, and pet/owner look-a-like. The judging of registered pets for prizes will be done beginning at 1:30 p.m. and will conclude by 3 p.m. The judging booth will be located immediately next to the registration table for ease of being judged. Our judged contests include Best Float, Pet/Owner look-a-like, and Best Dressed.
